  • MCI provides libraries and study areas with a curated selection of books, journals, magazines and newspapers. The three libraries are also equipped with a printer/copier, a book scanner, reading desks and PC workstations.
  • We offer access to an extensive digital collection of eBooks, eJournals & more from many different subject areas. This offer is constantly being expanded.
  • All of our online resources are easily accessible on and off MCI campus.
  • To complement its own library services, the MCI has a cooperation agreement with the University and State Library of Tyrol (ULB).

Citavi is a software to support your academic writing and referencing – free for all MCI affiliates, available for Windows and in a web-based version (also for Mac users).

LibKey Nomad

LK Nomad.png

LibKey Nomad is the browser extension for a successful literature research outside the library.

It detects whether an article is provided by the MCI library when visiting pages of academic publishers and platforms like Scopus, Google Scholar, or Wikipedia. Additionally, it checks if an open access or other freely available version exists. When a match is found, a button allows direct access to the PDF or HTML version.

LibKey Nomad is available for all browsers and can be downloaded here.
