The City


Sophia Antipolis is a European technology park. Much of the park falls within the commune of Valbonne, which lies northwest of Antibes and southwest of Nice, France. Created in 1970-1984, it houses primarily companies in the fields of computing, electronics, pharmacology and biotechnology. Several institutions of higher learning are also located here.
Lille is a city at the northern tip of France, in French Flanders. It features an array of architectural styles with various amounts of Flemish influence, including the use of brown and red brick.
Paris is the capital and most populous city of France. Since the 17th century Paris has been one of Europe's major centres of finance, commerce, fashion, science, and the arts.
Suzhou is a major city located in southeastern Jiangsu Province of East China. It is a major economic center and focal point of trade and commerce. The city's canals, stone bridges, pagodas, and meticulously designed gardens have contributed to its status as one of the top tourist attractions in China. The Classical Gardens of Suzhou were added to the list of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites in 1997 and 2000. Suzhou is often dubbed the "Venice of the East" or "Venice of China".
Raleigh is the capital of the state of North Carolina, US. Raleigh is known as the "City of Oaks" for its many oak trees, which line the streets in the heart of the city.
Belo Horizonte is the sixth-largest city in Brazil and the first planned modern city in Brazil. The city is built on several hills and is completely surrounded by mountains. There are several large parks in the immediate surroundings of Belo Horizonte.

The University


SKEMA Business School is a school created by the merger of two French schools, CERAM Business School and Groupe ESC Lille in 2009
The school name, SKEMA, is derived from the Greek, skhêma (shape, figure, formation of an object) meaning schema in Latin. It also stands for the initial letters of "School of Knowledge Economy and Management".
The school is now the largest French business school in number of students (approx. 8,000).
SKEMA has opened several international campuses to give its students an international experience. It has three sites in France in Lille, Paris and Sophia Antipolis near Nice and three sites in China (Suzhou), Brazil (Belo Horizonte) and in the USA (Raleigh, North Carolina, in cooperation with North Carolina State University).
