Starting now, you can pick up a menstrual cup from our office during our opening hours with your student ID! Just drop by and grab your cup.
What is Study Tasting?
Study Tasting is organized by the Austrian National Union of Students (ÖH Bundesvertretung). Together with student representatives, universities, and students nationwide, we offer trial sessions for bachelor's and diploma programs. Participation is free. Participants are taken by students to attend a lecture. Afterwards, there is a Q&A session plus an optional campus tour. For each session, there is a fee of €34 on a contract basis for the supervising students.
How you can shape Study Tasting:
To offer a session, you need to register as supervisors. Through your account, you can then enter your proposed dates. Here is the link for registration: https://www.studierenprobieren.at/registrieren/
Note: At some universities (mostly universities of applied sciences), there are coordinators on site. If you are studying at one of these universities and want to offer sessions, you must contact the relevant person beforehand. You can find the list here:

Deadlines:
Submission deadline: March 13th
Participant registration start: March 20th
Session period: April 15th to June 15th
The deadline for submitting new sessions is May 15th.

Requested Sessions
For financial reasons, we cannot post all sessions online. Here you can see approximately how many sessions we plan for the upcoming semester:

It is advisable to enter sessions by March 13th, even if the quota is already filled - then the session selection will take place. Sessions submitted thereafter will only be posted online directly if there are no sessions in that field yet. However, you can also suggest sessions as reserves, which we would like to offer for fully booked study programs.
We aim to post as many sessions as possible, supervised by you or other student representatives - but you must submit them before March 13th!

NEW HPV vaccination program in Tyrol starting from February: More than half of the costs for the HPV vaccination will be covered by the state of Tyrol for individuals aged 21-27, with only a remaining self-contribution of €62!
Are you vaccinated against HPV?
If not, you should consider doing so promptly, as HPV viruses can cause precancerous lesions, certain types of cancer, and genital warts. 4 out of 5 individuals become infected with HPV at some point in their lives, which is why we're reminding you to check your vaccination record and consult your healthcare provider at your earliest convenience. The vaccination is free up to your 21st birthday. HPV vaccinations can be obtained at the health offices of the district administrative authorities/the public health department of the city of Innsbruck.

Tyrol takes another step towards HPV prevention by expanding the free HPV vaccination program: starting from February 2024, the public sector will cover more than half of the HPV vaccination costs for individuals aged 21 to 27. This reduces the out-of-pocket expense to just €62.

The Club Alpbach Tirol is once again awarding scholarships for the European Forum Alpbach (EFA) from August 17 to 30, 2024. This year's international conference has the motto "Moment of truth" and will address the most pressing issues of our time in politics, science and business. In addition to exciting discussions, you can also expect hikes with state deputies, workshops and many other unforgettable experiences. The scholarship covers accommodation in Alpbach, tickets for all events on site and a once in a lifetime experience.
We are looking for critical people between the ages of 18 and 30 with a connection to Tyrol - regardless of whether they are students, apprentices or already in full-time employment.
