Recruiting Forum

The Recruiting Forum is the ideal platform for MCI students and young professionals to learn about companies and their offers and perfect for introductions, getting to know eachother and networking.

The aim of the event is to enable students and young graduates to get to know the potential employers of tomorrow and to obtain detailed information about (inter)national and regional companies from a wide range of sectors. In addition to company presentations the direct interaction and dialogue with company representatives are therefore the main focus. Which key competences future employees should have will be discussed as well as individual questions of a successful career entry.

For Students

For professional orientation, selected companies and institutions of various industries will be available for detailed career discussions. Organized by the MCI Career Center in collaboration with the study programs, this forum aims to enable students to make direct contact with human resource managers. In search of the "talents of tomorrow", companies present themselves, their corporate culture and human resources policies, and reveal what they attach particular importance to when applying for internships and jobs.

In the competition for the best minds, personal contacts with students and prospective graduates are becoming increasingly important in order to create an ideal fit between applicants and companies. Take the opportunity and inspire personally and sustainably as an attractive employer. Regardless of your online job portals and social media campaigns, convey individual impressions about your corporate culture, internships and possible entry-level positions and career paths.

MCI Recruiting Forum 2024

The atmosphere at the Congress Innsbruck was great when for the first time more than 100 companies presented themselves as employers at the annual Recruiting Forum of the Entrepreneurial School® on October 30, 2024. Around 1,000 students took advantage of the unique opportunity to meet HR managers and experts from large corporations, hidden champions, NPOs, start-ups, national and international companies in person within just a few hours. With the help of the digital career platform, participants were able to obtain information in advance and arrange appointments with the exhibitors or be contacted by them. The various services on offer, such as CV checks, mock interviews, application photo shoots and much more, were also met with great interest.

Review 2023

MCI Recruiting Forum 2023

In 2023, the Entrepreneurial School^® once again invited its students and young alumni to its own career fair, the MCI Recruiting Forum, at Congress Innsbruck. More than 900 interested visitors met 100 top national and international companies to make valuable contacts and gather useful tips for starting a career. For the exhibiting organizations - from well-known brands and hidden champions to large corporations and family businesses to traditional companies and start-ups - the event once again offered the ideal opportunity to present oneself as an attractive employer and track down future talents.

Participants in the Recruiting Forum were able to register on the digital exhibition platform in advance and gain access to almost 700 advertisements for internships, jobs and theses. In addition, the online tool made it possible to arrange appointments with the exhibiting companies according to the "find and be found" principle. The companies also had the opportunity to invite talented people of interest to their booth in advance. In addition to the excellent networking opportunities, visitors to the Recruiting Forum benefited from first-class application services, such as application photo shooting and mock interviews. HR professionals also provided valuable feedback on application documents, LinkedIn profiles and personality tests.

MCI Recruiting Forum 2022

After two years of online fairs, it was a special pleasure for MCI students and companies to meet again in person. Around 900 students and young alumni met more than 250 company representatives from 90 companies and organizations from all over the world at Congress Innsbruck and took the chance to introduce themselves, get to know each other and network. What made this year's Recruiting Forum particularly unique was the combination of a virtual tool with the on-site event: the smart concept "Find & Be Found" offered students and companies the exclusive opportunity to get in touch beforehand, arrange appointments and finally get to know each other better in person on the day of the fair. In addition, visitors were especially interested in the numerous attractive application services (CV Check, Rock your LinkedIn profile, mock interviews, and more) offered as part of the Recruiting Forum 2022.

MCI Recruiting Forum 2021

Due to the tense Corona situation, especially with regard to the travel options of major international companies, the Recruiting Forum was held online like last year. 80 companies and organizations from all over the world participated by means of virtual booths. Several hundred students and young alumni were present at the live event and made use of the new matchmaking tool "Find & and be found" in advance. This enabled a great amount of personal encounters and conversations via text and video chat on the day of the fair. The interesting presentations by LinkedIn, SalaryNegotiations and Red Bull also greatly inspired the visitors.

Review 2020

MCI Recruiting Forum 2020 – Online Premiere

The year 2020 was and is a special one, which is why our recruiting forum was different this year. While in previous years hundreds of students and young professionals had been gathering on the MCI campus, this year the popular fair moved to the World Wide Web. On November 16, students were able to get to know more than 70 companies from a wide range of industries in a virtual space from the comfort of their own homes, download information, submit application documents and make contacts for the future directly via text and video chats.
