At Besi Austria, we have been involved in semiconductors and electronic components for more than 35 years. We design and build machines that help our customers shape products that positively change the lives of us all: autonomous driving (ADAS), efficient control of power electronics in e-cars, or as one of over a hundred sensors in modern cars. The digital society benefits from our performance: positioned to nanometer precision for the fastest and most powerful computers (HPC) in data centers, in AI applications or even quantum computers, as well as produced in huge volumes as camera or laser sensors in cars (lidar) and cell phones. On the way from the raw silicon chip to the finished product, (almost) every semiconductor chip is inspected, measured and placed with micrometer precision in one of our machines. Our customers want to make our lives easier, safer and also more environmentally friendly through continuous development and new technologies.
