Holly vending machines at the MCI

Easy and convenient payment at all Holly beverage and snack vending machines at MCI.

In collaboration with the Holly vending machine company, we take pleasure in announcing a special service at the MCI. You can obtain drinks and snacks from all Holly vending machines at the MCI with the help of a special key. That offers two advantages:

  • Cashless purchase from all Holly beverage and snack vending machines at all MCI locations
  • 5 cent discount on hot drinks


The 5 euro activation charge is not a deposit and is not refunded on return or loss of the key, etc. When you have completed your study program, you are welcome to return your key to the infodesk so that it can be recycled. Please note that this will not entitle you to a refund of the activation charge or return of any unused credit.

How it works:

1) Simply present your student ID at one of the following MCI locations to obtain a key:

  • MCI I, Universitaetsstrasse 15, infodesk on the 1st floor
  • MCI III, Weiherburggasse 8, infodesk on the ground floor
  • MCI IV, Maximilianstrasse 2, infodesk on the ground floor


2) Loading the key

  • Insert the key in the Holly vending machine as indicated
  • Pay the 5 euro activation charge at the machine
  • Load the key with the desired amount of credit using coins at all Holly vending machines or using euro notes at selected Holly vending machines (MCI I 4th floor, MCI II ground floor, MCI III basement, MCI IV ground floor, MCI V 1st floor)
