The 2018 Tyrolean Cycling Competition: take part and win!
On March 12, it will be happening again. The Tyrolean Cycling Competition will be opened for the eight time, and also this year MCI, supported by its students, is taking part.
What it is about:All MCI students are invited to register for the competition, which will run from March 12 until September 30. Irrespective of whether you are a well-trained racing cyclist or mountain biker, or an unambitious cyclist whose bike merely serves as a means of transport to and from daily classes or the lake: each of you is welcome to participate.
It is not about speed or performance, but the enjoyment of cycling. Whoever registers and covers at least 100 kilometers by bike during the competition period can win great prizes. In addition to prizes throughout Tyrol, there are great prizes waiting for the three MCI students who have covered the greatest mileage. So, mount up!
Register …Participation is simple: register from March 8 on https://www.tirolmobil.at/?SV=2787, let us know for whom you wish to cycle and get on your bike. Please note: whoever cycles for more than one organizer (e.g. for MCI, a village and/or a club) increases their chances of winning.
… count kilometers …The kilometers covered can be entered on www.tirolmobil.at or registered with a simple cycling competition app. Alternatively, kilometers covered can be registered in a logbook to be entered online later. The Tyrolean Cycling Competition app for iPhone and Android can be obtained free of charge from the Apple App Store or Android Market. Kilometers covered can thus be registered via GPS.
… and win! After the competition, by October 3 at the latest, the kilometers covered have to be registered – ideally online on www.tirolmobil.at. The Tyrol-wide prizes are drawn by lottery during the final event in Innsbruck at the end of October. The three MCI participants who have covered the largest number of kilometers will be contacted mid-October.
