Call for ideas 2025

Learning is the key to knowledge, progress, personal development and the most important companion during studies. But how can studying, and therefore learning, be made even more effective, creative and accessible? With this year's MCIdea4students, we would like to recognize outstanding ideas and innovative concepts that open up new perspectives on learning and studying at the MCI.

We are looking for innovative ideas on a) potential activities by MCI students, as well as b) opportunities for change and measures on campus that will have a lasting impact on studying and learning at our university. Do you have a special idea or have you perhaps come across exciting concepts and measures related to studying and learning during your semester abroad, during your internship, at events or wherever? Your creative suggestions should help to make your everyday study life easier and promote learning for you as a student.

The winning idea receives EUR 363,-. In addition, a total of 5 MCI backpacks and 5 MCI bottles will be awarded to other submissions. The winners of these prizes can also have their participation recognised as an activity for the MCI Badge "Ambassador".

 

Eligibility
  • The competition is open to full- and part-time students enrolled in any MCI study program of any year
  • Group entries will also be accepted (In case of group entries, the prize money will be divided equally among the team members)
  • MCI employees and teaching staff and their families are excluded.

  • Sustainability impact – Assignment of SDG

  • Head of MCI Center for Responsible Management and Social Impact

Depending on the submitted proposal, further parties without voting rights may be consulted (e.g. heads of relevant departments).
