For MCI students, in the second half of their studies, with outstanding professional and/or personal experiences.
The “Deutsche Freundeskreis der Universitäten in Innsbruck“, an association of German-speaking personalities from economics, science, culture and politics, in order to support all universities in Innsbruck and the MCI will be granting the “DFK Student Support Award” amounting to 4,500 Euros for the year of 2024. MCI students – in the second half of their studies – attaining outstanding professional and/or personal experience, excellent academic performance, dedicated future plans and projects who would like to achieve an ambitious goal with the help of the “DFK Student Support Award” are eligible.
All decisions will be made by a committee of experts from the field of research and business. The awarding of the prize will take place on the occasion of the annual conference of the DFK in October. The committee will also consider awarding this scholarship to more than one candidate.
The awarding of the "DFK Student Support Award" is subject to the following conditions:
The applicant must possess citizenship of a EU-member-country or must have been resident in Austria for at least 3 years.
MCI students in the second half of their studies and of the following study programs:
- Bachelor studies (BA, BSc)
- Master studies (MA, MSc)
- Executive Master studies (MBA, MSc, LL.M.)
- outstanding professional and/or personal experience
- excellent academic performance
- dedicated future plans and projects
- Curriculum vitae along with credentials (transcripts, degree, etc.) showing career progression and achievements
- Short description of the planned / ongoing / completed MCI Bachelor or Master thesis, where applicable (e.g. Abstract & Time-table, Executive Summary)
- Brief description of your short or mid-term goals (half to one page)
- Brief description of how you are planning to use the “DFK Student Support Award“ (study or internship abroad, doing a complex research project or scientific work; half to one page)
