Mandarin Chinese Language program in Taiwan | Huayu Enrichment Scholarship (HES)
The Ministry of Education (MOE) of the Republic of China (Taiwan) offers scholarships for a total of 60 months, divided into scholarships for the period of 6 and 3 months to citizens of Austria, Slovenia and Croatia in the academic year 2024/25 for the study of Mandarin Chinese.
Value of the Scholarship
Monthly grant: 25.000 New Taiwan Dollars (about 738 EUR, exchange rate of Jan. 8th, 2024 1€= 33,89 NTD). Attention: fees like travel expenses, tuition fees and health insurance, etc. are not paid additionally
Scholarship period
- Scholarship for six months: September 1st 2024 - February 28th 2025; December 1st 2024 - May 31st 2025; March 1st - Aug. 31st, 2025
- Scholarship for three months: one trimester in the academic year 2024/25 (Sept.-Nov.; Dec.-Feb.; March-May; June-Aug.)
