Mandarin Chinese Language program in Taiwan | Huayu Enrichment Scholarship (HES)
The Ministry of Education of Taiwan (MOE) of the Republic of China (Taiwan) offers scholarships for a total of 60 months, divided into scholarships for the period of 6 and 3 months to citizens of Austria, Slovenia and Croatia in the academic year 2025/26 for the study of Mandarin Chinese in Taiwan.
Value of the Scholarship
Monthly grant: 25,000 New Taiwan Dollars (approx. 737 €, exchange rate 08.01.2025 : 1€= 33.91 NTD).
Attention: fees like travel expenses, tuition fees and health insurance, etc. are not paid additionally.
Scholarship period
- Scholarship for six months: September 1, 2025 to February 28, 2026, December 1, 2025 to May 31, 2026 or March 1 to August 31, 2026
- Scholarship for three months: one trimester in the 2025/26 academic year (Sept.-Nov.; Dec.-Feb.; March-May; June-Aug.)
