Aix-en-Provence is a city in southern France, some 30 km north of Marseille. The population of Aix is approximately 140,200.

The University

Paul Cézanne University (or Paul Cézanne University Aix-Marseille III) specializes in the humanities, law, political science and economics although it also has a faculty for exact science and technology. Its law school remains one of the largest in France today, and is considered as one of the most prestigious. Currently more than 3.000 international students study there.
