The City


Lille
Lille is a city at the northern tip of France near France's border with Belgium. It has a population of approx. 230,000 inhabitants within its administrative limits and an urban population of 1,015,744, making it the fifth largest urban area in France after Paris, Lyon, Marseille and Toulouse.
Lille features an array of architectural styles with various amounts of Flemish influence, including the use of brown and red brick. Points of interest include Lille Cathedral (Basilique-cathédrale Notre-Dame-de-la-Treille), Citadel of Lille, Palais des Beaux-Arts de Lille, etc.
With over 110,000 students, the metropolitan area of Lille is one of France's top student cities.

The University


France Agro³ is a consortium of 3 French leading institutes specialized in Agricultural, Food and Environmental Sciences including JUNIA ISA Lille among others.
Created in 1963, ISA Lille's campus is part of Lille Catholic University, the largest private higher education institution in France, with 26,000 full-time students and 2,500 international students.
JUNIA ISA Lille is a French Graduate School of Agriculture and Bioengineering offering undergraduate courses and master's programs with majors in Agricultural Science, Food Science, Environmental Science and Economics, Marketing & Management, taught in English and French. In addition to its academic programs and research activities it offers consulting activities to local companies as well as global leaders in the sectors of agriculture, food industry and environment in France and abroad.
