The City


Nice is located Located in the French Riviera, on the south east coast of France on the Mediterranean Sea, at the foot of the Alps. It is the second-largest French city on the Mediterranean coast and the second-largest city in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region after Marseille.
Nice counts among France's most visited cities having the second largest hotel capacity in the country.


The University


Université Côte d'Azur was established in 2020 merging both the Université Nice Sophia Antipolis created in 1965 and the Communauté d'Universités et d'Etablissements Université Côte d'Azur created in 2015. It consists of six main campuses: the Valrose campus (Sciences), the Trotabas campus (Law and Political science ), the Carlone campus (Letters, Arts and Humanities), the Saint-Jean d'Angély campus (Economics and Management - Odontology), the Pasteur campus (Médicine), Polytech Sophia Antipolis (Engineering). In addition the university operates on several secondary locations like Villefranche-sur-Mer or Cannes.
